Heating Instructions for Mason Jar Soups
- Refrigerated Soup:
-
- Remove the lid and transfer the soup to a microwave-safe bowl or a stovetop pot.
- Microwave: Heat on medium power in 1-minute intervals, stirring in between, until the soup reaches your desired temperature.
- Stovetop: Heat on low to medium heat, stirring occasionally, until thoroughly warmed.
- Frozen Soup:
-
- For best results, thaw the Mason jar in the refrigerator overnight before heating.
- Follow the heating instructions above once thawed.
Important Warning
- Do Not Heat Directly in the Mason Jar: Mason jars are not designed for microwave or stovetop use and may crack or shatter under high heat. Always transfer the soup to a safe container before heating.
- Avoid Sudden Temperature Changes: Allow the Mason jar to come to room temperature before placing it in warm water to prevent cracking. Sudden exposure to extreme heat or cold can cause the jar to break, which could lead to injury or damage.
